Kairiene I, et al. – In this population–based analysis, the authors evaluated the treatment outcome of childhood acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in Lithuania, a small Eastern European country. Accumulated data displayed that the current survival rate of Lithuanian children treated for AML was comparable to the expected rate in other parts of Europe.
