Cohen CM, et al. - Analysts conducted a retrospective cohort study assessing the clinical effectiveness of insulin degludec (IDeg) in insulin-treated patients with type 2 diabetes switching from other insulins to IDeg in a real-world setting. The outcomes highlighted that switching from another insulin to insulin degludec significantly enhanced glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes, without significant weight gain and with only a modest increase in insulin dose after insulin degludec initiation.
