Lobo TF, et al. - This study entails characterization of the profile of immune cells in peripheral blood of overweight women with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). Researchers reported impaired regulatory T cells and natural killer cells profile in the presence of obesity associated with GDM, findings that seem to be related with the development of IR and inflammation.
