Mählmann L, et al. - Authors performed this study to investigate objective sleep in paediatric inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). They observed an association of IBD, in an active state of disease, with impaired objective sleep patterns. Sleep quality and inflammation indices seemed to have a complex association. For objective sleep disturbances, subjective sleep assessment could serve as an indicator.
