Perez-Garcia LF, Röder E, Goekoop RJ, et al. - Findings from this multicenter cross-sectional study (iFAME-Fertility) indicate that inflammatory arthritis (IA) can negatively impact male fertility.
Impaired male fertility in correlation with receiving diagnosis of IA has been demonstrated for the first time.
A lower fertility rate, higher childlessness rate and more fertility problems were recorded among those diagnosed with IA before and during the peak of reproductive age.
