Peluso H, et al. - The authors aimed to assess the relationship between day of admission and important outcomes among patients with burn injuries. Findings revealed an association of weekend admission with increased mortality among patients with burn injury >65 years old. Weekend admission also indicated an association with increased morbidity and prolonged length of stay.
