Khan AR, et al. – Prognostic differences between totally occluded and non–occluded culprit arteries in patients with non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) were assessed via a meta–analysis. Findings demonstrated a higher risk of mortality and major adverse cardiac events for those with a totally occluded culprit vessel on coronary angiography.
