Duval MAS, et al. - Researchers performed this study to assess the accuracy of thyroglobulin measurements in the washout of fine needle aspiration (FNA-Tg) measurement to detect differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) metastases and the influence of thyroid status and anti-thyroglobulin antibodies (TgAb). In the follow-up of patients with DTC, ultrasound (US)-guided FNA-Tg proved to be a useful examination, independently of TSH status and the presence of TgAb.
