Yamada T, et al. - The concentration of serum carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (s-CA19-9) as a pre-operative predictor of lymph node metastasis in patients with intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) was determined. In patients with ICC, pre-operative s-CA19-9 was useful as a biomarker, for predicting lymph node metastasis and prognosis after surgical resection with curative intent.
