Wilk CM, et al. – This work was planned to assess the impact of oral gut decontamination on staphylococcus aureus colonization in patients undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Findings revealed a reduction in S. aureus colonization with oral gut decontamination. There appeared no S. aureus bacteremia in 110 consecutive hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) patients.
