Impact of mean platelet aggregation degree on long-term clinical outcomes among patients undergoing a complex percutaneous coronary intervention

Li Q, et al. – In a study comprising patients receiving a complex percutaneous coronary intervention (CPCI), researchers intended to assess the link between the mean platelet aggregation degree and long–term clinical outcomes. Findings reported a high risk for major adverse cardiovascular and cerebral event (MACCE) in patients undergoing CPCI with a high mean ADP degree. Therefore, serial platelet function testing was considered crucial in these cases.
