Mahantshetty U, et al. - Researchers contemplated the consequence of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) 16/18 infection on the clinical outcomes in locally advanced cervical cancers treated with radical radio (chemo) therapy. Persistent HPV 16/18 infection was discovered to be prominently high in the immediate post-treatment period. It was associated with higher loco-regional, overall relapses and also correlated with early relapses.
