Harada K, et al. - The relationship between high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) (HDL2-C and HDL3-C) subfractions and the incidence of periprocedural myocardial injury (PMI) was investigated in patients who underwent elective percutaneous coronary intervention. Findings suggested that HDL3-C was an independent inverse predictor of PMI in these patients.
