Seyve, L, et al. - Researchers here aimed at assessing the impact of four direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) on 3 commonly used ROTEM tests. Findings revealed a DOAC dose-dependent increase in ROTEM clotting times (CTs). Low levels of edoxaban, rivaroxaban or dabigatran only poorly impacted ROTEM tests. Even at high concentrations, apixaban had only a low effect.
