Impact of declining renal function on outcomes in pulmonary arterial hypertension: A reveal registry analysis

The Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation Nov 10, 2017

Chakinala MM, et al. - Authors here analyzed the association between change in estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and outcomes in pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) patients in the Registry to Evaluate Early and Long-term PAH Disease Management (REVEAL). In this study, 10% or more decline in eGFR over ≥1 year independently predicted poorer survival. In PAH, eGFR could be a simple and economical biomarker in PAH.
