Immunohistochemistry reveals an increased proportion of MYC-positive cells in subcutaneous panniculitis-like T-cell lymphoma compared with lupus panniculitis
Journal of Cutaneous Pathology Aug 19, 2017
Fernandez–Pol S, et al. – This research was conducted in order to determine if there were quantitative or qualitative variations in MYC expression subcutaneous panniculitis–like T–cell lymphoma (SPTCL) and lupus erythematosus panniculitis (LEP). A variation was noted in the MYC expression levels between these two histologic mimics. Hence, it was deduced that this oncoprotein could play a role in the pathogenesis of SPTCL.
