Imaging features on contrast-enhanced ultrasound and clinical characteristics of hepatitis B virus-related combined hepatocellularâcholangiocarcinoma: Comparison with hepatitis B virus-related hepatocellular carcinoma
Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology Aug 30, 2017
Ye J, et al. – This study was designed to compare the clinical characteristics and imaging features on contrast–enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) of hepatitis B virus (HBV)–related combined hepatocellularÂcholangiocarcinoma (CHC) and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Furthermore, a receiver operating characteristic curve was plotted and the area under the curve was 0.740. It was considered that combined hepatocellularÂcholangiocarcinoma should be watched for in HBV–infected patients with liver tumor manifesting peripheral irregular rim–like enhancement on contrast–enhanced ultrasound, accompanied by CA19–9 elevation.
