Ito T, et al. – This study was set up to figure out if IL–22 induced Reg3{gamma} and inhibited allergic inflammation in house dust mite (HDM)–induced asthma models. Possibly by inhibiting cytokine production from lung epithelial cells, IL–22 induced Reg3γ production from lung epithelial cells and inhibited the development of HDM–induced allergic airway inflammation.
