Li HY, et al. - Authors assessed the mechanisms underlying immune dysregulation in the case of Sjogren’s syndrome (SS) in order to determine specific biomarkers to aid in the diagnosis of SS. Findings revealed that in the diagnosis of sSS, the anti-3S-P antibody was highly specific. The underlying molecular mechanism of the disease could be an epitope spreading involved with vimentin.
