Hypervascular transformation of hypovascular hypointense nodules in the hepatobiliary phase of gadoxetic acidâenhanced MRI: A systematic review and meta-analysis
American Journal of Roentgenology | Oct 25, 2017
Suh CH, et al. - In this study, researchers assess the outcomes of hypovascular hypointense nodules in the hepatobiliary phase of gadoxetic acidÂenhanced MRI and the risk factors for the hypervascular transformation of the nodules through a systematic review and meta-analysis. The outcome suggests that the hypovascular hypointense nodules detected in the hepatobiliary phase of gadoxetic acidÂenhanced MRI carry a significant potential for transforming into hypervascular hepatocellular carcinomas (HCCs). For hypervascular transformation, the size of nodules is an important risk factor.
