Hyperuricemia in Asian psoriatic arthritis patients
International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases Feb 06, 2018
Lai TL, et al. - This study was conducted to assess the prevalence of hyperuricemia in the patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) and to evaluate the associated risk factors. Asymptomatic hyperuricemia was seen in a significant proportion of PsA patients. Findings demonstrated a close relation with body mass index (BMI) which represented metabolic dysregulation. However, no relationship was noted with the severity of skin disease, joint involvement or renal function.
