Mtibaa K, et al. - The purpose of this trial was to scrutinize the impact of passive hyperthermia on several measures of proprioception and balance, two key components of injury prevention and movement efficiency. It was illustrated that hyperthermia impaired the proprioception and balance parameters measured. This could be attributed to heat-induced alterations in efferent and afferent signals to and from the muscle.
