Illuminati G, et al. - The results of combining eversion carotid endarterectomy (CEA) with retrograde common carotid artery (CCA)/innominate artery stenting for tandem lesions were evaluated. Findings suggested combined proximal stenting and eversion CEA for tandem lesions to be valid treatment, with the benefits of eversion CEA over other techniques of carotid bifurcation revascularization.
