Pediatric Pulmonology Mar 19, 2021
Ponte EV, Mingotti CFB, Mamoni RL, et al. - Among children and adolescents with current mild‐persistent (MP) and moderate‐severe (MS) asthma, a comparison was performed in terms of rate of hospital admissions that have occurred during the preceding year. This analysis involved 220 MP and 102 MS asthmatic individuals. According to findings, similar frequency of hospital admissions that have happened during the preceding year was revealed between participants with current MP and MS asthma. The MP asthma group was found to have lower symptoms score as well as financial values spent by the family in the care of asthma.
