Baine MJ, et al. - In this multi-institutional analysis, researchers assessed the impact of histology on post-stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) outcomes in early-stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Squamous cell carcinoma histology was confirmed to be independently predictive for local, regional, and distant recurrence and worse overall survival.
