Histopathology May 12, 2018
Bataillon G, et al. - The molecular and phenotypic characteristics of low-grade adenosquamous carcinoma of the breast (LGASC) were studied. The clinical and morphological features of a retrospective series of 13 LGASCs were reviewed and immunohistochemical characteristics were detailed. The authors discovered that LGASC of the breast was a low-grade triple-negative breast cancer that has a basal-like phenotype with no androgen receptor expression, and exhibited a high rate of PIK3CA mutations, however, no TP53 mutations.
