Macias-Garcia F, et al. - The authors performed this prevalence cross-sectional study to determine the resistance patterns of H. pylori strains in their area. In the northwest of Spain, resistance rate of H. pylori to antibiotics was high. As per findings, the high resistance to levofloxacin and clarithromycin advised against their wide empirical use of these antibiotics in eradication regimens.
