Mlosek RK, et al. - In this trial, the utility of high-frequency ultrasound imaging was investigated with the intention of distinguishing between foreign body granulomas and nodular dermal filler deposits. Data reported differences between the ultrasound image of granulomas and dermal filler deposits. Hence, high-frequency ultrasound imaging assisted in distinguishing between the granulomas and nodules—dermal filler deposits, developed post dermal filler injections.
