High expression of tumor necrosis factor receptor 2 in tissue is associated with progression and prognosis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma
Human Pathology Jun 21, 2018
Liu Z, et al. - Researchers identified tumor necrosis factor receptor 2 (TNFR2) expression in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) tissues using immunohistochemistry (IHC). Results revealed that clinical stage, lymph node involvement, and invasion depth all correlated with overall survival (OS). The findings from the present study indicated that TNFR2 in ESCC tissues was positively associated with progression and poor prognosis of ESCC patients. The outcomes suggested that lymph node involvement and invasion depth could be treated as independent prognostic factors.
