High expression of ALDOA and DDX5 are associated with poor prognosis in human colorectal cancer
Cancer Management and Research Jul 10, 2018
Dai L, et al. - Researchers investigated whether there was an association between expression of fructose-bisphosphate aldolase A (ALDOA) and DEAD box p68 RNA helicase (DDX5), and colorectal cancer (CRC) outcome among 105 subjects with CRC treated at the Affiliated Hospital of Guilin Medical University and the People’s Hospital of Liuzhou. Using Kaplan–Meier analysis, and Cox regression analyses, the prognostic values were evaluated. It was observed that high levels of ALDOA and DDX5 contributed to the aggressiveness and poor prognosis of CRC. The study findings suggested that ALDOA/DDX5 expression could be biomarkers for the prognosis of CRC.
