Hemodynamics of cerebral veins analyzed by 2D and 4D flow MRI and ultrasound in healthy volunteers and patients with multiple sclerosis
Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging May 23, 2019
Schuchardt FF, et al. - This prospective study explores in detail the hemodynamics of intracranial veins and tract of the venous outflow in 28 patients with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (MS) and 41 healthy controls, performed through extra and transcranial sonography, 3T/2D phase-contrast and time-resolved 4D flow MRI. Results were no different from previous studies on extracranial hemodynamics as there was not much difference of intracerebral venous blood flow between MS patients and controls.
