Romo-Gonzalez C, et al. - An inspection was pursued of the link between H. pylori infection and serum levels of ghrelin, leptin, and obestatin in schoolchildren. The findings affirmed the correlation between H. pylori infection and decreased serum concentrations of leptin and obestatin. Among the schoolchildren, H. pylori infection exerted an impact on the levels of hormones implicated in regulating appetite and energy homeostasis.
