Height outcome of the recombinant human growth hormone treatment in Turner syndrome: A meta-analysis

Li P, et al. - During this study, experts gauged the consequence of the recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH) treatment of Turner syndrome (TS) on the height outcome. It was noted that rhGH therapy resulted in increased final height, height standard deviation and height velocity. A minor increase was also found in the bone age after rhGH therapy for 12 months. Data illustrated that rhGH alone or with concomitant use of oxandrolone treatment presented with advantages on final height for TS patients.
