Heart failure education in the Emergency Department markedly reduces readmissions in un- and under-insured patients

Asthana V, et al. - The efficacy of a structured, educational intervention targeted towards un- and under-insured emergency department (ED) heart failure (HF) patients was determined. A significant decrease in ED and hospital readmissions with an ED educational intervention was noted among these HF patients.
