Pain Medicine Apr 11, 2020

Rogers AH, et al. - Researchers sought to determine if and how health literacy, pain, and opioid misuse are associated among 445 adults with chronic pain (74.6% female, mean age = 38.45 [11.06] years). Results indicate that health literacy may contribute to current opioid misuse, severity of opioid dependence, pain severity, and pain disability among individuals with chronic pain.
