Kabore AF, et al. – This study investigated the effect of performing Head Computed Tomography Scan (HCTS) in traumatic brain injury (TBI) in low–income countries (LICs). According to the findings obtained, no modification of guidelines can be advocated, however, given the burden in finances family of performing HCTS, research might identify criteria allowing avoiding HCTS. Guidelines specific to LICs are required to get closer to the best interest of patients.
