Salomone F, et al. - The researchers aimed to investigate whether HCV eradication by DAA affected glucose tolerance and post-load insulin resistance in nondiabetic patients with genotype 1. They revealed that in patients with HCV-related cirrhosis, HCV eradication could lead to an early improvement in the glucose tolerance.
