Shirinsky I, et al. - Researchers tested the hypothesis that the use of H1-antihistamines could be associated with the reduced prevalence of knee OA. In order to compare the prevalence of knee OA in H1-antihistamine users and non-users, unadjusted and adjusted logistic regression models were performed. Results demonstrated an association of H1-antihistamines with a reduced prevalence of knee OA. They analysed baseline data from the Osteoarthritis Initiative cohort cross-sectionally. Results demonstrated an association of H1-antihistamines with a reduced prevalence of knee OA.
