Rolandsdotter H, et al. - During this study, the effect of granulocyte and monocyte apheresis (GMA) with mesalazine was comprehensively inspected for the induction of remission among pediatric patients with newly onset chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) colitis. The effectiveness of GMA for induction of remission of newly onset pediatric IBD colitis was reported in 8 out of 12 patients.
