Okamura A, et al. - This study aimed to assess the impact of glycemic status on esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) prognosis. Findings suggested that poor glycemic control was an independent risk factor for overall and disease-specific mortality after esophagectomy for advanced-stage ESCC.
