Chandrasekar S, et al. - Researchers compared suture fixation vs tissue glue fixation of the mesh in inguinal hernia repair in terms of the immediate and chronic post-operative pain. They also compared the time taken for the procedure by the two methods in use and compared the presence of any complications. This study suggested the superiority of tissue glue mesh fixation to suture mesh fixation in open inguinal repair in terms of operative time, immediate and chronic post-operative time. However, the two methods had same complication rates.
