Xu L, et al. - A Chinese population was assessed in this study in order to find out the association of the genetic polymorphism of NUCKS1 with the susceptibility of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS). Also, researchers intended to further narrate its association with the clinical phenotypes. Based on the findings, it was concluded that carriers of allele T of rs951366 can be more vulnerable to the incidence of AIS as well as a late onset of menarche.
