Deveau A, et al. - This study explored gender disparities in the presentation and outcome of vasovagal syncope, presuming that women would suffer a greater burden of syncope and that the triggers for syncopal spells would differ. Findings reported that sex-based differences existed in terms of clinical presentation, triggers of vasovagal syncope and recurrent events.
