Patrao AL, et al. - This study was executed in order to determine the psychosocial factors related to healthy lifestyles in the Brazilian Longitudinal Study of Adult Health (ELSA-Brasil) cohort, from a gender-based perspective. Varying factors were revealed which affected the healthy lifestyles, among men and women. This data ought to be taken into account for formulating the programmes designed to promote health.
