Chuang E, et al. – Objectives of the cross–sectional study were to evaluate primary and specialty palliative care delivery and to measure unmet needs in the inpatient setting and to examine racial and ethnic disparities in palliative care delivery. Hospitalized patients had a high prevalence of unmet palliative care need even when considering primary and specialty palliative care. Further research was required to understand racial and ethnic disparities in palliative care delivery.
