Ganglion cell layer segmentation and the two-flash multifocal electroretinogram improve structure function analysis in early glaucoma
Graefe's Archive for Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology Aug 26, 2017
Brandao LM, et al. – This study is conducted to improve structure–function investigation in primary open–angle glaucoma (POAG) by including the two–global flash multifocal electroretinogram (2FÂmfERG) and macular ganglion cell layer segmentation. Structure function examination in glaucoma can be improved when the ganglion cell–inner plexiform layer (GCIPL) thickness and also the 2FÂmfERG is included as these measures complement data obtained by standard automated perimetry (SAP).
