Functional optical zone after small-incision lenticule extraction as stratified by attempted correction and optical zone
Cornea Aug 13, 2018
Fu D, et al. - After small-incision lenticule extraction, authors compared the functional optical zone (OZ) with different levels of myopia and different OZ groups. They assessed the correlations between corneal aberration and achieved functional optical zone (AFOZ). As per data, with greater attempted correction, an increase in the discrepancy between the AFOZ and planned functional optical zone (PFOZ) was seen. Corneal aberration was influenced by the attempted correction and AFOZ. In the high myopia group, total corneal aberration increased more, which was also associated with the AFOZ.
