Straiton N, et al. - A systematic review was performed to investigate the functional capacity and health-related quality of life outcomes post transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). Despite evolving patient selection criteria, functional capacity and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) improved substantially following TAVR. Therefore, TAVR continued to provide a directly beneficial option for severe aortic stenosis (AS) patients.
