Â The physicians explored free fatty acids (FFA) profile among lean, overweight and obese non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) patients in order to identify the value of FFA for early diagnosis of NAFLD. They suggested that 14:0 and 16:1 were promising for early diagnosis of NAFLD.
