Fractional CO2 laser to improve noticeable scars after skin cancer surgery - An appraisal by the patients, laypersons and experts

Wyss N, Graf N, Hafner J, et al. - This retrospective analysis was conducted to assess 40 patients who have been managed with fractionated carbon dioxide (fCO 2 ) laser for facial scars post-skin cancer surgery. The primary endpoints were esthetics and the Vancouver Scar Scale, assessed by patients (n = 40), laypersons (n = 5) and experts (n = 5). According to the findings, effectiveness of ablative fCO 2 laser was evident in improving noticeable postsurgical scars. As reported by patients, they were highly satisfied with post-laser results.
